lots of stuff here, too big to paste
also there are lot of dev tags listed there, they just linked them instead of putting all the info in this one post, so click on those to see more stuff on that dev tag (like the dynamis changes)

some highlights:
- empyrean upgrade items (ie: glavoid shell) now all stack to 12
- abyssea support npc's are in port bastok, port sandoria and heavens tower (wtf, i'm moving out of windurst)
- enchanted teleport item (earrings, rings, warp cudgel) now have 1 hour reuse time
- they changed the font on the over-the-head player names for xbox and windows
- fixed the text on mercurial sword and mercurial pole (it's only been, what, 5 years?)
- libra wasnt working right with enmity douse, fixed
- synergy recipes listed for sky/abjuration gear listed
- The new text command "/blockhelp" has been added. (no more accidentally clicking "call for help" from the battle menu)
- The number of Magian trials that can be undertaken simultaneously has been increased from five to ten.

some wtf's:
- xp loss when dying lowered (who cares these days?)
- The NM "Almighty Apkallu" will appear more easily.
- Additional equipment items obtainable with Imperial Standing have been added
- The Goblin firework vendor NPCs Kindlix and Pyropox have set up shop in Port Jeuno
- The footgear "Ace's Sabatons" has been renamed "Ace's Leggings."

[Update Details]
The following issues have been fixed:

- An issue wherein players were able to upgrade their hand-to-hand combat skill beyond the limit via merit points.
* The limit for hand-to-hand combat skills is once again set to 8. Any merits that are lost due to setting the skill to 9 cannot be compensated.

- An issue wherein, under certain conditions, items were mistakenly delivered to characters.
* This issue may have caused you to receive unexpected items in your mail box. Such items may have unintended effects on quests or missions, so we recommend that you delete any items in your mail box that you were not expecting to receive.
* Reimbursement of items lost due to being mistakenly delivered is under investigation.

May 2011 - Additional Version Updates

Event-related

* The following additions / adjustments will be made to Voidwatch.

o A new item that will act as a substitute for the voidstone has been added.

* Additional texts will be added to the Goblin NPCs that sell the key items to enter Dynamis. These new text will assist players by explaining the new system in detail.
* Adjusting the location of the synergy furnace in Jeuno.


Battle-related

* We will be making changes to how certain monsters in the following areas will detect a player character. In addition, the monster placement of certain notorious monsters will be adjusted.
Ranguemont Pass / Bostaunieux Oubliette / Toraimarai Canal / Zeruhn Mines / King Ranperre's Tomb / Dangruf Wadi / Inner Horutoto Ruins / Ordelle's Caves / Outer Horutoto Ruins / Eldieme Necropolis / Gusgen Mines / Crawlers' Nest / Maze of Shakhrami / Garlaige Citadel / Fei'Yin
* The following additions / adjustments will be made to Grounds of Valor.

o Adjusting the amount of experience points earned upon completion of a regime.
o Increase the number of “Grounds Tome” placed within the designated areas.

* The following adjustments will be made to the puppetmaster job.

o The following adjustments will be made to the new automaton attachments.

+ Heat Capacitor
It will no longer erase all Fire Maneuver effects.
* Please note that the help message for the attachment will be adjusted at a later date.
+ Power Cooler
It will reduce the MP cost even if there are no Ice Maneuvers in effect.
+ Galvanizer
It will increase the chance of countering even if there are no Thunder Maneuvers in effect.

o The following adjustments will be made to the new weapon skills that were added. In addition, we will address an issue wherein the damage of the weapon skill is not calculated properly.

+ String Shredder
Increasing the damage and the addition of status bonuses.
+ Armor Shatterer
Increasing the damage and the addition of status bonuses.
Changing the skillchain element from Fragmentation / Scission to Fusion / Impaction.

* The following issue with the summoner job will be addressed.

o An issue wherein the damage of “Crescent Fang,” “Mountain Buster,” “Tail Whip” is higher than intended.

* The following additions / adjustments will be made to Abyssea.

o The game will remember the Atma that the player was last infused with.
o Adjustments will be made to the new methods that were added to obtain empyrean upgrade items.
o Placing additional “???” which can be used to spawn certain notorious monsters.
o Adjusting the location of new Abyssea support NPCs that have been added to San d’Oria / Bastok / Windurst.


Item-related

* Increasing the number of new linkshells that are sold.


Other issues that will be addressed

* An issue wherein a previously etched aperture is removed from an item during synergy.
* An issue wherein certain text within the Fellowship Quest is incorrect.

May 13th Version Update Details

The following adjustments / additions are planned for the additional version update scheduled to take place on May 13, 2011.


Some changes that have already been announced require a client-side update or more development/testing time. These will be implemented in a separate version update scheduled for next week.


Battle-related

* The method that certain monsters use to detect players in the following areas will be changed.
Bostaunieux Oubliette / Toraimarai Canal / King Ranperre's Tomb / Dangruf Wadi / Ordelle's Caves / Outer Horutoto Ruins / Gusgen Mines / Crawlers' Nest / Maze of Shakhrami / Garlaige Citadel / Fei'Yin
* The following zones were removed: Ranguemont Pass, Zeruhn Mines, Inner Horutoto Ruins, and Eldieme Necropolis (changes made on May 12, 2011)

* The following adjustment will be made to Grounds of Valor.

o Placement of target monsters for certain regimes that take place in The Eldieme Necropolis will be adjusted.

* The following adjustments will be made to the puppetmaster job.

o Automaton attachments will be adjusted as follows:

+ Power Cooler
It will reduce the MP cost even if there are no Ice Maneuvers in effect.
+ Galvanizer
It will increase the chance of countering even if there are no Thunder Maneuvers in effect.

o The following adjustments will be made to the new weapon skills that were added. In addition, we will address an issue wherein weapon skill damage was not calculated properly.

Miscellaneous Fixes

* An issue wherein the skillchain effect of the Inhibitor attachment did not work properly with the String Shredder and Armor Shatterer weapon skills, causing the automaton to go into standby mode, will be addressed.
* An issue wherein the damage of the blood pacts Crescent Fang, Mountain Buster, and Tail Whip was higher than intended will be addressed.
* An issue wherein aptants and pigments could be used in synergy with aperture-etched equipment, causing the apertures to be erased, will be addressed.



*The planned change to stop the "Heat Capacitor" attachment from erasing all Fire Maneuver effects will be postponed to a future update.
*The Automaton weapon skill "Armor Shatterer" will also increase accuracy along with damage and status bonus.
*The planned measures to reduce congestion in Port Jeuno will require a client-side update, and thus will be implemented in next week's update. We apologize to all players for this inconvenience, and ask for your patience and understanding.

May 19th Version Update Details
Event-related
The following changes and additions have been made to Voidwatch.
The item “voiddust” has been added to act as a substitute for the voidstone.

New Abyssea support NPCs have been added to the following areas:
Ru'Lude Gardens / Chocobo Circuit / Port Windurst
* Please note that Bastion status cannot be checked via the new NPCs.

Miscellaneous Fixes
The following issues have been addressed:
An issue wherein certain text within the Fellowship Quest is incorrect.
Incorrect messages may be displayed when players trade an item to Delivery Crate during the Trial of the Magians.
The vial of shrouded sand can be obtained in Dynamis even though the requirements are not met.
 * If the vial of shrouded sand is in the player's possession while the requirements aren't met, players must check the Trail Markings once again after this version update.
The Treasure Casket appears after defeating Goblin's Bats in Ranguemont Pass.
The monster that spawns from "???" in Behemoth's Dominion is not spawning.
Pet, Wyvern and Automaton may become invincible under certain circumstances.
The effect of Barrage Turbine is also active on frames other than the Sharpshot Frame.
The following items being deliverable:
Bridal Corsage / Benedight Coat / Benedight Hose / Chocobo Whistle
* In case these items have been delivered to another character on the same account, they cannot be sent back to the character who originally possessed them.
An issue wherein players are unable to progress with the mission “Headstone Pilgrimage” due to the notorious monster not spawning properly when checking the “Cermet Headstone” in the “Behemoth's Dominion” area.
