Well I was kinda lucky getting in I guess. Hopefuly we can play together tonight ;)
I've got a character in grydania and that jeuno-ish town (not the port town)

two days after it started i should not be getting the f'ing server error message when trying to so much as sign up.
if this is real indication of what the service is going to be like for when the game goes live, i might just cancel my preorder.

when i DO get past that page, i get this bullshit.

Applications for the FINAL FANTASY XIV Open Beta Test have been temporarily suspended. Please wait until we are ready to accept new applications and then try again.

Yea.. they just could've put that message before the login page.. or just send older beta testers a code through mail.... that would've saved alot of trouble too.. alpha had the same problems. But you would think these kind of problems are not meant to be.. but o'well..
